In an effort to keep maintenance down, the ability to upload images directly to the site for use in these forums is turned off. That however, doesn't mean you can't put images into your post. There are a couple of ways to get images that are online or on your computer, visible to other VBC Forum Members.

1. Images hosting places(Imageshack and Photobucket.com)

2. Link to an image hosted elsewhere.

If you are using an free image host like imageshack or photobucket, keep in mind some work differently than others. I like the speed and accessibility of imageshack because they do not require you to register an account with them. But photobucket's features are pretty nice if you are a repeat user. The nice thing about using these places is they create these little tags(code which displays the image) that are ready to copy and paste right into your forum post. EASY!

After its done it looks like this!



Now linking to an already hosted image is even easier. You can right click on the image and then copy the image's location and then paste it into the toolbar above your current message(You know, the area where you have all the text formatting and buttons). There's a specific button up there that allows you to link to an image (It's on the far right. Hover your mouse over and it will tell you.)
